Our Story

Laurel was a vibrant 5-year-old girl whose life took a tragic turn when she was diagnosed with Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor (PNET), a rare childhood cancer. Over the next nine months, she faced numerous challenges, including surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments at Norton Children’s Hospital. Despite the hardships, Laurel's bravery and faith shone through. After completing her treatment in 2005, she has been cancer-free for nearly 15 years. Inspired by her journey, The Laurel Foundation was established to support children and families affected by this devastating disease.

Our Impact

The Laurel Foundation has raised over $462,526 to support pediatric cancer research and awareness initiatives, benefiting both local and national organizations.
