Established in 1975, Laurel Arts is Pennsylvania's first non-profit, fully-staffed rural arts organization. Founded by a group of culturally-minded individuals, it was gifted the Dressler Center as a memorial tribute, ensuring the community's need for an art center was met. Over the years, Laurel Arts has grown to connect the arts with Somerset County, offering exhibitions, concerts, lectures, classes, and workshops for all ages.
