Empowering Immigrants in Mercer County

Established in 2004, the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF) is dedicated to promoting the rights of immigrants, particularly within the Latin American community in Mercer County. By facilitating access to essential services such as health care, education, and legal representation, LALDEF advocates for the integration of immigrants and fosters inter-cultural communication to strengthen communities.

Making a Significant Impact

Each year, LALDEF serves between 3,000 and 3,500 low-income immigrant neighbors, providing vital support that helps them achieve self-sufficiency and thrive in their new environment.

Why Donate?

With over 85% of its operating budget funded by donations, LALDEF relies on the generosity of individual and foundation donors. Supporting LALDEF empowers immigrants and dismantles barriers to their integration.
