Founded in 1978 by Master Falconer and Veterinary Technician John Karger, Last Chance Forever, The Bird of Prey Conservancy, is committed to rehabilitating sick, injured, and orphaned birds of prey. Each year, the organization cares for 240-300 birds, providing expert veterinary care, physical therapy, and exercise with the goal of releasing them back into the wild.
Last Chance Forever successfully rehabilitates and releases 65-80% of the birds it cares for back into the wild each year. Additionally, the organization educates thousands of individuals about conservation and the vital role of birds of prey in the ecosystem.
