Lark Musical Society

Our Story

For over three decades, Lark Musical Society has enriched Los Angeles audiences with offerings of Classical and Armenian folk music. By organizing numerous events, promoting the arts, and fostering community, Lark embraces the dual heritages of the Western Classical tradition and the rich traditions of Armenian culture. Central to Lark’s mission is the education and development of youth, exposing them to a wealth of cultural influences and encouraging them to acquire the skills to operate both as leaders and within an ensemble.

Impact

To date, Lark has organized over 300 concert events, published more than 30 scholarly treatises, produced 5 compact discs, and educated hundreds of students in a wide range of musical studies. Lark has established itself as a vibrant feature of the Armenian Diaspora and the Southern California Arts Community.
