Our Story

Lansdowne Yonkers FC, originally founded as Bronx Bhoys FC in 1997, has evolved into a vibrant community hub for soccer enthusiasts in Yonkers and the Bronx. Established in the Lansdowne Bar on Broadway, Riverdale, the club has grown from a small group of passionate activists to one of the largest soccer clubs in New York, boasting over 400 players across 22 youth teams and two adult teams. The club celebrates diversity, welcoming players from various backgrounds and ethnicities, and has made a significant mark in the amateur soccer scene.

With a commitment to excellence, Lansdowne Yonkers FC has become a powerhouse in the New York soccer landscape, consistently competing for national titles. The club's First Team has achieved remarkable success, including victories over professional teams in the US Open Cup and multiple national championships.
