Our Story
In 2003, Bill Morse learned about Aki Ra, a young Cambodian man and ex-child soldier, who was bravely clearing landmines by hand. Aki Ra had established a Relief Center for wounded and abandoned children, caring for over a dozen kids alongside his wife, Hourt. Intrigued by their mission, Bill and his wife Jill traveled to Cambodia to meet them. Inspired by their dedication, they founded the Landmine Relief Fund to support Aki Ra's efforts in making Cambodia safer.
