Our Story

Founded in 1997 by concerned residents of Bedminster Township, the Land Trust of Bucks County emerged in response to the growing development pressures threatening local farmland and natural resources. By adopting the Standards & Practices of the Land Trust Alliance, the organization successfully preserved 6 properties totaling 676 acres in its inaugural year. Renamed in 2009 and again in 2016, the Land Trust continues to expand its efforts to protect the rural landscape of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
