In 2003, a dedicated group of East Central Illinois citizens and conservationists established the Land Conservation Foundation to protect and restore local woods and wetlands. This organization focuses on areas threatened by development, ensuring the preservation of our natural landscapes.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, LCF successfully acquired a 12-acre parcel to expand the Mouth of Jordan Reserve, enhancing hiking trails and safeguarding the Salt Fork River.
