Lancer Lacrosse was founded in 2002 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering competitive lacrosse for young men in Shawnee Mission East and the surrounding Shawnee Mission School District. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the program emphasizes not only athletic excellence but also community service, requiring players to engage in service activities each year.
The Lancer Lacrosse Program has made a significant mark in the community, achieving 7 consecutive LAKC Championship appearances and securing multiple championships, including the LAKC title in 2019, 2018, 2016, 2013, and 2012, along with the Kansas State Championship in 2011.
