Lambswear was founded by Katie Carter, who recognized the urgent need for adequate clothing for children entering foster care. What began as a small initiative to collect donations from friends has blossomed into a larger mission to serve all children in need. Established as a 501c3 in March 2013, Lambswear now provides free clothing to families in Indianapolis and surrounding counties, focusing on children from preemie to size 14/16Y.
Since its inception, Lambswear has provided over 24,000 bags of free clothing to families in need, significantly improving the lives of children in poverty-stricken homes across Central Indiana.
