Founded in 1968, Lake Whatcom Residential and Treatment Center, originally known as Blue Canyon Foundation, has evolved to meet the mental health needs of the community. With a commitment to supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, LWC has expanded its services over the decades. Today, it offers licensed residential care, independent supported living, community outpatient mental health services, and more, all tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
