Lake Cumberland Recovery began as a vision in 2014, inspired by CEO Mikkle Hampton during his time in a substance abuse program. Now serving as the pastor of Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Somerset, Kentucky, Mikkle established Lake Cumberland Recovery in late 2019 to help individuals overcome addiction through a supportive community-based residential treatment center.
The mission at Lake Cumberland Recovery is to partner with individuals battling alcohol and drug addiction, equipping them with essential skills for a healthier lifestyle. By employing a holistic treatment approach, each participant receives a personalized plan that addresses their spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
