Our Story

Founded by early-childhood specialist Janet Miller in 1999, Lake Area Discovery Center (LADC) was established to meet the community's need for strong, Christian-based early childhood programs. With over 25 years of experience and a commitment to excellence, Janet and her team have created a nurturing environment for children. LADC has expanded to 13 metro partnership locations, employing over 110 qualified teachers and staff, all dedicated to providing the highest-quality preprimary education.

Impact

Serving over 900 children, LADC is recognized for its commitment to early childhood education, having received NAEYC Accreditation since 2009. The organization offers a range of programs, including care for infants and toddlers, ensuring that every child is prepared for kindergarten.
