Our Story
The Laiba Memorial Welfare Organization began its journey in 2019, sparked by a single phone call about a man in Ghotki Village struggling to make ends meet. This call ignited a passion for advocacy and support for underserved communities. By providing him with the tools to start a food cart, his success transformed not only his life but also revitalized the surrounding community. This pivotal moment led to the establishment of LMWO on April 5th, 2021, dedicated to uplifting lives through clean water, housing, education, and more.
Impact
Since its inception, LMWO has focused on provinces severely affected by floods, water shortages, and landslides, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. The organization has successfully built 46 wells, installed 343 hand pumps, and constructed 18 houses, with a school currently under construction.
Why Donate?
To continue making a difference in these communities, support is essential. Every contribution, no matter the size, is invaluable. LMWO ensures that 100% of your donation goes directly to the program of your choice, helping low-income families improve their lives. Your generosity encourages these communities to engage in their own upliftment, fostering a cycle of positive change.
