Our Story

Laguna Canyon Foundation was born from the historic March to Save Laguna Canyon in November 1989, a pivotal moment aimed at halting the development of shopping centers and homes in this precious area. Since then, the foundation has partnered with OC Parks and the City of Laguna Beach to acquire and preserve open spaces, ensuring these lands remain public for all to enjoy.

Our Impact

With a commitment to conservation and education, Laguna Canyon Foundation has successfully preserved 22,000 acres of wilderness, providing critical habitats for native plants and endangered species. Community engagement through volunteer programs and educational initiatives plays a vital role in protecting the South Coast Wilderness.
