Lafourche Arc has been a beacon of hope since 1963, dedicated to providing essential services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Lafourche Parish. Initially established to fill a significant gap in community support, Lafourche Arc has evolved from Day Development Training Centers to a comprehensive organization that operates six community homes and offers a variety of supports to approximately 250 individuals across seven parishes.
For over 60 years, Lafourche Arc has significantly improved the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities, enabling them to live independently and engage fully in their communities.
