Our Story

The Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation was established to sustain the Lafayette Library as a vibrant regional resource for the benefit of the community, now and for generations to come. Since its grand opening in November 2009, the Foundation has fueled the vision of a Library as a learning center by offering enriching experiences for all ages.

Impact

The Foundation covers approximately 52% of the Lafayette Library’s annual budget, enabling extended hours, dedicated staff, and inspiring programs. Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation funds initiatives like the Distinguished Speaker Series and new technology for patrons.
