Founded in 1991 at Kanahā Beach, Maui, Lae'ula O Kai Canoe Club was established by Desmon Antone and Sharon Balidoy through the State of Hawaii's 'Adopt-A-Park' program. The club is dedicated to perpetuating Hawaiian canoe paddling traditions and values, creating an inclusive environment for all ages.
Lae'ula O Kai fosters community engagement and inclusivity through the sport and culture of Hawaiian canoe paddling. Members train rigorously and compete in various divisions, embodying the values of aloha and mutual respect.
