Our Story
Founded in 2009 by Amanda Finger and Dr. AnnJanette Alejano-Steele, the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking emerged from a need for coordinated efforts against human trafficking in Colorado. Initially a state chapter of the Polaris Project, LCHT has grown into an independent 501(c)3 organization focused on data-driven solutions to combat this pressing issue.
Our Impact
Since its inception, LCHT has conducted four major research projects, trained over 53,000 community members and professionals, and nurtured nearly 200 aspiring human rights leaders through its Leadership Development Program.
