Our Story
La Vida Mission was founded by Lilakai (Lily) Julian Neil, a full-blooded Navajo, who envisioned a permanent Christian mission to uplift her people. Despite personal challenges, including a life-altering car accident, Lily's dream became a reality. Named in honor of Veda Scholder, La Vida Mission, which translates to 'the life' in Spanish, has grown to serve the Navajo community through education and outreach.
