Our Story

Established in 1973, La Raza Centro Legal was founded by leaders of the Civil Rights movement to provide essential legal services to the Bay Area’s Latino, low-income, monolingual Spanish-speaking, and immigrant population. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services to include immigration law, workers' rights, and elder law, while also engaging in advocacy and community organizing efforts.

Impact

La Raza Centro Legal ensures that poverty, immigration status, disability, language, sexual orientation, or gender identity do not impede access to justice for the Latino community and other low-income immigrant families.
