Our Story

La Escuelita Arcoiris began in September of 1999 in the home of founder Megan Rooney. With a vision to share the benefits of second-language learning, the program started with just five children. Today, it has blossomed into a vibrant school with five classrooms, serving over 90 families through preschool, pre-kindergarten, after-school programs, and summer camps. This growth reflects the commitment to providing a unique educational and cultural resource for the greater Pittsburgh community.
