Founded by Karen Carr after a transformative Faith & Sharing retreat, this organization has grown from a small group of passionate individuals to a recognized nonprofit. L’Arche Wavecrest is dedicated to creating vital, healthy, and spiritually rich homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
L’Arche Wavecrest provides homes for over 300 individuals with I/DD, fostering a community where everyone is valued and included. With 80 homes across the U.S. and a presence in 37 countries, the organization significantly impacts the lives of individuals and their families.
