Our Story
In 1983, an interfaith group of leaders from the San Fernando Valley recognized the alarming rise in homelessness among families. They rallied local support and funds to purchase the Fiesta Motel in North Hollywood, transforming it into a safe haven for families in need. This initiative blossomed into LA Family Housing, which now serves over 14,000 individuals annually through a comprehensive range of housing and supportive services.
Impact
LA Family Housing has become one of the largest providers of housing and homeless services in Los Angeles, employing evidence-based practices to assist individuals in transitioning out of homelessness and poverty.
