Our Story

The Kuwait-America Foundation was established in May 1991, following Kuwait’s liberation from Iraqi occupation. This foundation was created to fund humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs in the United States as a gesture of gratitude to the American people for their support during the Gulf War. Over the years, KAF has expanded its efforts to empower individuals, support communities, and bolster intercultural relationships, focusing on education and global initiatives.

Impact

KAF has raised over $20 million for various organizations, including the UNHCR, and has successfully implemented programs like 'Do the Write Thing' to address youth violence and promote education.
