Kultivate Labs was founded to address the economic development needs of the Filipino community in San Francisco's SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District. Inspired by the historical marginalization of this vibrant community, Kultivate Labs aims to create thriving commercial ecosystems that preserve culture and provide opportunities for the arts to flourish.

Impact

Since its establishment in 2016, Kultivate Labs has launched initiatives like the UNDSCVRD Night Market, attracting over 8,000 attendees, and the SEED Accelerator, which supports minority-owned businesses through grants and resources. The organization has been recognized for its significant contributions to community engagement and cultural revitalization.
