About the Kristen M. Corbett Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2011, the Kristen M. Corbett Memorial Scholarship Fund for Higher Education honors the memory of Kristen Corbett, a vibrant young woman whose life was tragically cut short in a car accident in 2009. This scholarship fund is dedicated to making a positive impact in the Austin community by providing financial assistance to deserving students pursuing higher education.
Impact of the Scholarship Fund
To date, nearly $75,000 has been raised and distributed to students who have graduated with a GED or high school diploma from local institutions such as Austin Prep, Shawsheen Tech, and Billerica Memorial High School.
