Our Story

Kotor Kitties began with the rescue of Luka, a stray cat found by co-founder April King in Kotor, Montenegro. Established in 2018, this organization addresses the urgent need for spay-neuter programs for stray cats in the region. Through partnerships with voluntary charities, Kotor Kitties focuses on humane solutions to combat stray animal overpopulation.

Our Impact

Since its inception, Kotor Kitties has successfully sterilized over 2000 cats, significantly reducing the stray cat population in Kotor and surrounding areas. The organization also raises awareness about humane treatment and care for stray animals.
