Founded in 1925, the Kosciuszko Foundation fosters closer ties between Poland and the United States through educational, scientific, and cultural exchanges. By awarding up to $1.7 million annually in fellowships and grants, it supports graduate students, scholars, scientists, professionals, and artists.

Impact of the Foundation

The Kosciuszko Foundation has significantly contributed to Polish Studies at over 20 American universities, enhancing knowledge of Polish language, culture, and history. Each year, it supports 2-3 teaching fellows from Poland through the KF Exchange to the U.S. program.
