Our Story

Founded in 2007, KKOOM began as a volunteer initiative at Samsungwon Children’s Home in Gumi, South Korea. This organization was established by dedicated volunteers aiming to enhance the lives of children within the Korean social welfare system. Over the years, KKOOM has evolved from hosting holiday parties to providing year-round educational initiatives, scholarships, and enrichment programs for children and young adults.

Impact

KKOOM has successfully provided preschool and college scholarships, organized holiday celebrations, and funded various enrichment activities for children in South Korea. Many scholars have thrived in their educational pursuits, graduating and entering the workforce, significantly impacting the lives of vulnerable youth.
