Our Story

The Komolion Human Development Fund was established in January 2017, inspired by Baylor University students' visit to the Komolion School in Kenya in 2007. This organization is dedicated to community-driven projects that enhance education, health, and overall quality of life, particularly addressing critical issues such as Female Genital Mutilation and early marriage.

Our Impact

Since its inception, the Komolion Human Development Fund has sponsored 25 children and raised $325,000 to support various community projects. These initiatives focus on providing education for girls and combating harmful practices like Female Genital Mutilation, while also contributing to the Maji Mazuri Children’s Center, which cares for disabled children.
