About the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra
Established in 1935, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra is the oldest continually performing symphony orchestra in the Southeast. Founded by Bertha Walburn Clark, KSO believes that 'Every important occasion in life must have music.' Today, it continues to uphold this vision by delivering exceptional musical performances and educational programs to audiences across East Tennessee.
Impact of the KSO
The KSO reaches over 200,000 people annually, providing enriching experiences through concerts and educational outreach. With programs that touch the lives of over 20,000 children each year, the KSO is a vital cultural leader in the region.
Why Donate?
With KSO musicians dedicating approximately 70% of their time to outreach, the costs of sending these talented professionals into classrooms and hospitals are solely funded through grants and contributions. The demand for these invaluable programs far exceeds current resources. Your support is crucial to continue this mission.
Make a Difference Today!
Join the movement to enrich lives through music. Your donation, whether in cryptocurrency or cash, will help sustain the KSO's outreach and educational initiatives. Together, we can ensure that music remains a vital part of our community.
