Our Story
Knit For Life was founded in 1997 by cancer survivor Tanya Parieaux, who sought to give back after her own battle with breast cancer. This organization harnesses the healing power of knitting to support cancer patients and their caregivers during treatment and recovery. Starting in Seattle, Knit For Life has expanded its reach to multiple hospitals and cancer centers across Western Washington, creating a therapeutic environment for patients to connect and share their experiences.
