About Kiwanis Holiday Lights

The Kiwanis Holiday Lights event, inspired by a similar initiative in Marshfield, Wisconsin, was brought to Mankato by Scott Wojcik and the Mankato Downtown Kiwanis Club. Launched in 2012, this event fosters community involvement and raises funds for local nonprofits through volunteer participation.

Impact

Since its inception, Kiwanis Holiday Lights has engaged over 21,000 volunteers and attracted 1.8 million visitors, raising $690,000 for local nonprofits and collecting 140 tons of food for 20 area food shelves.
