Kits Cubed is a youth-led nonprofit organization founded in April 2020 by Ahmed Muhammad, a dedicated student from Oakland Technical High School. The mission is to inspire youth to love science through engaging and accessible means, such as experiment kits and educational programs. With a passionate team and support from teachers, donors, and partner organizations, Kits Cubed is committed to equalizing STEM education and nurturing the inner scientist in every child.
To date, Kits Cubed has donated over 40,000 science kits, benefiting more than 10,000 students across 30+ schools in the Bay Area. This initiative makes STEM education accessible and engaging for youth, fostering a love for science.
