About KIPP Columbus

KIPP Columbus is the only KIPP school in Ohio, dedicated to educating over 2,000 students from kindergarten through 12th grade on a sprawling 150+ acre campus in Northeast Columbus. Since its inception in 2008 with just 50 students, KIPP Columbus has expanded significantly, driven by a mission to create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students for college, career, and beyond.

Recognized with the Ohio Department of Education Momentum Award for three consecutive years, KIPP Columbus has consistently surpassed student academic growth goals. Remarkably, 100% of its first three graduating classes have graduated on time, with all students accepted to college or military service, collectively earning over $40 million in scholarships.
