King’s Kids International began in 1976, inspired by a Scripture passage from Deuteronomy 6.6-8. Founders Dale and Carol Kauffman, during their time with Youth with a Mission, felt a divine calling to engage children in outreach activities. What started as a summer program has blossomed into a global network, impacting approximately seventy-five nations and emphasizing the spiritual potential of children and teenagers.
KKI has mobilized thousands of families, teens, and children to participate in mission teams and long-term service projects worldwide, highlighting the vital role of children in fulfilling the Great Commission.
