Youth Transitioning From Foster Care
Assisting Young Parents

Our Story

King Edwards Programs were established to assist youth and young adults struggling to achieve independence, particularly those transitioning out of the child welfare system. Founded by Delores Ford-Edwards, Warren Edwards, and Barbara Aulu, the organization began with Emergency Respite Care Services, stabilizing over 50 youth from 1995 to 1997. In 2003, it became a licensed Child Placement Agency, expanding its services to include young parents in 2011.

Our Impact

King Edwards, Inc. has successfully stabilized and transitioned over 50 youth back to families or independent living settings. Currently, the organization serves youth preparing for independent living and those exiting the foster care system with their child.
