Our Story
The King County Search and Rescue Association (KCSARA) was established in 1965 to foster collaboration among its member units and advocate for their collective interests. Originating from a group of mountain climbers in the 1940s, KCSARA has evolved into a vital organization that supports nine specialized units dedicated to various search and rescue operations.
