KindWorks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a kinder world by mobilizing volunteers to serve the community. Founded in 2008 by a group of mothers in the DC area, KindWorks has grown to engage individuals of all ages in meaningful projects that address critical needs.
Since 2021, over 2,500 volunteers have prepared and delivered more than 5,100 meals, refurbished over 1,000 computers, and furnished homes for 81 refugees, significantly improving the lives of those facing food insecurity and housing challenges.
