Kim's Nurturing Nest Animal Sanctuary was established to offer a safe haven for abused, neglected, and special needs animals. Founded by Kim Kunst, a former pediatric nurse, the sanctuary began its journey rescuing chickens from factory farms and has since expanded to care for a variety of domestic and farm animals. Driven by a passion for animal welfare and plant-based living, Kim has dedicated her life to rehabilitating and nurturing these vulnerable creatures.
To date, the sanctuary has successfully helped 522 animals, spayed/neutered 349 animals, and provided 115 medical treatments. By focusing on spaying and neutering cats and fostering animals until they find permanent homes, the sanctuary significantly impacts the local animal population.
