Our Story
Kidz Express was founded by Warren King and Duane Ehresman to provide programs and services that build self-esteem in inner-city children. Initially partnered with Austin Messiah Lutheran Church, the organization has evolved into an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on developing mentoring relationships with children from the Quincy and Central neighborhoods within Austin, Chicago.

By providing a safe environment, mentorship, and educational support, Kidz Express positively impacts the lives of children and youth in one of Chicago's most underserved communities.
