About Kids Meals

Since 2006, Kids Meals has been dedicated to combating childhood hunger by delivering free, healthy meals directly to the homes of hungry children in Greater Houston. With a mission to end childhood hunger, this unique program serves children ages 5 and under who are facing debilitating hunger due to extreme poverty. Over the years, Kids Meals has grown from two delivery vans to a fleet of 21, delivering over 14 million meals across 56 zip codes in Harris County and Montgomery County.

Impact of Kids Meals

Kids Meals is a first-responder to food insecurity, providing essential nutrition to over 80,000 preschool-aged children in Harris County. The goal is ambitious: to feed 26,000 children per day by 2031.
