Our Story

Founded in 2005 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kids First Law Center is dedicated to giving children a voice in custody and divorce conflicts. With a growing team of 18 professionals, the organization serves over 2,500 children annually across Linn and Johnson Counties. Kids First is the premier organization in Iowa focused on mitigating the negative effects of divorce and custody disputes on children. By fostering a safe home environment and promoting constructive conflict resolution, Kids First helps children navigate the challenges of parental separation.
