Founded in Oxford, UK in 1984 and in the US in 1992, Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN) was established by Elliott Portnoy to provide free recreational opportunities to children and young adults with disabilities. Starting as a single program in the Greater DC area, KEEN has expanded to multiple cities across the United States, maintaining its commitment to empowering youth through inclusive, non-competitive activities.
KEEN empowers youth with disabilities through participation in free, non-competitive, one-on-one programs of physical activity and fun, supporting the overall health and well-being of all participants.
