Our Story

Kiddy Up Ranch originated from a singular dream, sparked by the connection between a little girl and the desire to create transformative change. In 2010, Mrs. Tammy's journey began when she met Terissa Gautney while volunteering at another ranch. This encounter ignited a calling within her, leading to her pursuit of knowledge in equine therapy and animal-facilitated learning. After an extensive internship, Mrs. Tammy envisioned a sanctuary where equines and humans could unite for healing, learning, and growth. Starting on a modest .85-acre land, the demand for her unique programs necessitated a move to a larger 10-acre property. Despite zoning challenges in 2018, Mrs. Tammy and her husband now proudly manage a thriving ranch that serves over 160 families each week.

Kiddy Up Ranch serves over 160 families weekly, offering programs tailored for special needs individuals, trauma survivors, human trafficking victims, and veterans. Beyond horseback riding, the ranch instills values of agriculture and hard work, creating a haven for healing, resilience, and lifelong learning.
