Kherut
EIN: 83-2816420 · Anaheim, CA
Our Story
Kherut was founded by Yves and Jody Masquéfa after witnessing the horrors of sex trafficking in Ukraine and Kenya. Upon returning to Orange County, they discovered that sex trafficking was also a significant issue in the U.S. This realization led to the establishment of Kherut, aimed at empowering women who have faced extreme life challenges, including domestic violence, imprisonment, and homelessness.
Our Impact
Kherut empowers survivors of human trafficking by providing education, mentorship, and long-term employment opportunities in a safe and supportive environment. The innovative solution includes building commissary kitchens that support catering and food service, allowing survivors to gain valuable skills and experience.
