Endita Kiarie, a Kenyan native, recognized the need for Kenyan women in Illinois to unite, share experiences, and support one another. After years of navigating life in the United States, she founded the Kenyan Women’s Support Group in March 2011, transforming her vision into reality with the help of friends and the Kenyan community. Officially registered as a 501(c)(3) organization in February 2013, KWSG has become a beacon of hope and empowerment for Kenyan women.
The Kenyan Women’s Support Group is dedicated to empowering Kenyan women and the girl-child, serving as a vital resource within the community. Through cultural and social events, KWSG fosters goodwill and connection among the Kenyan diaspora and the American community.
