Our Story
In 2012, Leila and Katarina Salisbury faced the unimaginable loss of a husband and father to suicide. Their journey through grief led them to the McClean Fletcher Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where they found solace and support. After losing her mother in 2018, Leila recognized a critical need for similar services in Kentucky, resulting in the establishment of the Kentucky Center for Grieving Children and Families, Inc. in 2021.
